Lumicor wins best booth at Neocon 2008

CHICAGO - (June 8, 2008) - Lumicor, a global decorative resin manufacture, annouced the company was awarded the Best Large Booth Award at Neocon 2008 by IIDA and Contract Magazine.

The Lumicor booth, made almost entirely of Lumicor architectural resin panels, is a study in green building and the multiple uses of Lumicor product. Walls, shelves, inserts, doors, ceiling tiles and even flooring are designed using eco-friendly R4™ Lumiclear and Lumiform.

The exhibit has a modular design that can be reconfigured into an infinite number of layouts to accommodate future applications of new product, displays and presentations. The panels are created entirely of Lumicor’s R4™ resin which contain a range from 30 – 60% recycled content and is available in Lumiclear®, Lumiform® and Lumiguard®. Recyclable and energy efficient materials such as aluminum framing and LED lighting are also used throughout. And don’t forget to look down. The floor was created with Lumicor Recycled Glass, which not only boasts 99% recycled décor content, but is renewable to a gloss finish without replacement!

The innovative green design was recognized by IIDA and Contract Magazine. The IIDA/Contract Magazine Showroom and Booth Design Competition seeks to honor originality of design, visual impact, effective use of materials and the outstanding use of space, color, texture and graphics in showrooms and booths at Neocon 2008.
