Ordering a Point Support System is easy. Just follow these five steps and contact your Sales Representative for a quote.
Step 1 DETERMINE PANEL DIMENSIONS:

Standard panel size is 48” x 96” (1219mm x 2438mm). Some décors are available in oversize sheets. Panels can be cut to size by Lumicor or on-site with common woodworking tools.
Step 2 DETERMINE PANEL GAUGE:

Thinner gauges require more hardware to prevent bowing. Lumicor Point Support Systems can accomodate gauges up to 1”. Consult the Placement Guide for gauge recommendations.
Step 3 DETERMINE NUMBER OF SUPPORT POINTS:

Consult the Placement Guide to determine the number of support points required for the gauge of your panels. Vertical and horizontal applications may require a different number of support points for the same panel size.
Step 4 CHOOSE STANDOFFS OR BUTTON CAPS:

Lumicor Point Support Systems offers Standoffs and Button caps in 3/4” or 1” diameters. Standoffs are available in 1/2”, 1” and 2” barrel lengths.
Step 5 IDENTIFY SUBSTRATE:

Anchoring hardware will differ depending on the substrate. Point Support hardware comes standard with wood screws. Additional hardware must be specified for installation in concrete, metal or drywall. While drywall hardware is available, it is recommended to anchor to structural members.
