ChemShield is a film that can be applied to one or both sides of Lumicor panels to increase chemical and stain resistance. This protective layer will not fade or streak even after heavy cleaning.

DECORS
ChemShield is appropriate for all decors in every Lumicor collection. Choose from over 250 decors in an endless number of combinations. | |
GAUGES
ChemShield may be added to any available gauge of Lumicor panels, from 1/16” to 1”, (1.5 mm - 24 mm). |
RESINS
ChemShield may be applied to one or both sides of Lumiclear and Lumiform. It is not recommended for use with Lumiguard.
ChemShield protects against common staining agents, such as food, ink, and grease. ChemShield also protects panels from limited surface exposure to many acids, bases, and solvents. | |
SIZES
ChemShield may be added to any availalbe sheet size of Lumicor panels. |
FINISHES & ADD-ONS
Panels with ChemShield can only have Gloss or Matte finishes. If scratched or damaged, the panel cannot be refinished without loosing its chemical and stain resistance. | |
FABRICATION
Sheets with ChemShield may be cut, formed, and finished. ChemShield is not applied to the edges so all edges must be protected from chemical exposure. |
APPLICATIONS
Use for any application where panels are cleaned with chemicals routinely, or are in high-touch areas. Great for counter and table tops, or any application in the healthcare and hospitality industries.
